Build Strength, Confidence & Connection

Starting something new can feel intimidating, but at 8 Limbs Yoga Centers, we’re here to support you every step of the way. Since 1996, we’ve been guiding new students through their first experiences with yoga, helping them build a strong foundation for a practice that supports body, mind, and spirit.

This series is designed to introduce you to the foundational elements of yoga in a welcoming, non-competitive environment. Whether you are brand new to yoga or looking to refresh your practice, this series will provide the tools you need to feel confident in any yoga class.

At 8 Limbs Yoga Centers, we celebrate the diversity of teaching styles and approaches that each instructor brings to this Intro Series. With a wealth of experience, a deep commitment to yoga, and a passion for sharing their knowledge, each teacher offers their own unique approach to guiding students on their yoga journey.

What to Expect:

Each week, you’ll build upon what you’ve learned, developing strength, balance, and awareness while exploring essential yoga postures, breathwork, and relaxation techniques.

While the series follows a general outline, instructors may adjust the sequence, introduce variations, or adapt poses to best support their students' needs.

  • Breath Awareness – Learn simple breathing techniques to calm the mind

  • Foundational Poses – Explore key standing, seated, and reclined postures

  • Alignment & Modifications – Receive hands-on guidance for your unique needs

  • Mind-Body Connection – Discover how yoga supports stress relief and mindfulness
